I was afraid of it. There’re many things that my brain cannot comprehend about mexican food and one of these are the obsession that mexicans have with the spicy fruit. The cannot eat only a fruit, they must add chile to them. I must to admit: i feel that trying fruit with chile is like eating a taco. Nevertheless, and listen to a friend of mine, who told me that the mango with chile was incredible (wich surprised me a lot, since she hates all spicy food). My mood was very low, but i decided to give it a try, so i went directly to the area near the
-¿Do you want me to add salt, lemon and chile on it?
-Yes, please.
Scared, i bit it, and, surprisingly, i didn’t throw up. I fact, i was almost fascinated with the flavor. I never thought that the salt, lemon and chile would function as a perfect balance to the sweetness of the mango.
Until today, i really don’t know if what is better: a mango by itself or with its red friend. My advice? Try it, don’t mind the gay image, "there's anything wrong with that".

Temeroso, dí la primera mordida e, increíblemente, no vomité. De hecho, quedé casi fascinado con el sabor. Comprendí que la mezcla de limón, sal y chile (no el más picoso, sino uno más afable, como el famoso chile tajín) era un buen paliativo para el, a veces, empalagoso sabor del mango.
